Today I thought I’d share with you my current skincare favourites.
At the moment, I’ve been using my products religiously with the Genius Ultra, which I’ve mentioned in a previous post. It’s been a total revelation and improved my skin so much!
So what am I using it with and what are my favourites?
The Toner
Currently I’m using the super-fresh and gentle Regenerating Toner supports skin tone by minimising pore appearance and refining skin texture.
Key ingredients include sea buckthorn oil and stabilised vitamin C which deliver a powerful spritz of antioxidants to help enhance skin’s natural pH balance.
I especially love that it’s non-drying and alcohol-free, which hasn’t been the case with a lot of toners I’ve used. The Regenerating Toner is so refreshing and skin-prepping that I can’t live without it. I love to use it on a flight or if I’m working in an air conditioned office as a bit of a pick-me-up for my skin during the day.
The Serum
My go-to serum of the moment is the Intensive Renewal Serum. It delivers concentrated antioxidants, botanicals and peptides that work beautifully together to protect the skin’s surface from signs of ageing.
The serum has fabulous natural ingredients like algae extract which helps diminish fine lines and wrinkles by supporting collagen activity on the skin’s outer layer. Also in the ingredients is Kudzu root which improves skin tone and firmness, and lastly marine lavender reduces the appearance of wrinkles too, which is exactly what I’m after.
The serum is light and fast-absorbing which is a must for a serum if you’re wanting to add other products on top. The Intensive renewal serum is like an injection of moisture that, when followed with day cream, leaves my skin feeling plump, dewy and ready for makeup. What more could you want?
Day Cream
I’ve discovered the Restorative day crème SPF 15 and it’s been a really great find! The restorative day crème moisturises deeply, supports collagen and protects skin from free radicals. The unique botanical complex helps replenish skin’s natural moisture barrier and support its rejuvenation potential to guard against future signs of ageing. Plus, it’s always good to make sure you’re using an SPF to help prevent skin damage which can accelerate skin’s ageing too.
The thing I love the most about the Restorative day crème is how it instantly absorbs into my skin making it feel fresh and dewy. It’s lightweight texture ensures it doesn’t feel greasy and you only need one pump to cover your face and half a pump for your neck and décolleté. Arbonne say ‘a dot is a lot’ and it’s completely true – it lasts forever.
Night Cream
This night cream – Arbonne RE9 Advanced Night Repair Crème - is a high-potency, ultra-rich blend of botanicals and collagen-supporting ingredients. Apply as you go to bed and let nature and time create soft, smooth and youthful skin.
I go to bed feeling totally nourished and wake up looking radiant, like a beautician has been pampering me with a facial throughout the night. After years of using this product, my skin is always soft and I won’t be looking to try anything else any time soon.
Eye cream
Despite being totally loyal to the Arbonne brand I, like you I suppose, get bored with things and want to ring the changes. I’ve just changed eye cream for that very reason. I loved the RE9 Corrective eye cream but am currently giving the RE9 Advanced Lifting and Contouring Cream a go - and I love it.
I noticed the lift it gave me instantly and love the feel and tenure of it. It’s light but super absorbent. Again it contains the algae extract which moisturises to support collagen and peony root extract to hydrate your skin. I love peonies and have just planted nine in a new herbaceous border so what’s not to love.
