Apple Protein Pancakes

Breakfasts don't have to be stodgy wheat based affairs. These amazing protein packed pancakes are super easy to make and totally delicious. Serve with chilled yogurt, seasonal fresh fruit and maple syrup. Yum.

1 serving – 3 – 4 pancakes


  • 1 apple grated
  • 25g gluten free oats
  • 20g gluten free flour – oat, almond or coconut work too
  • 1 scoop Arbonne Feel Fit vanilla protein powder
  • ½ a banana - mashed
  • 50ml oat milk
  • 1 egg - or substitute with a flax egg if vegan




  1. Grate the apple and mash the banana
  2. Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Add the milk, banana and egg and mix to form a sticky batter.
  3. Add the apple and stir in.
  4. Heat a large frying pan with a little coconut oil and cook dollops of the batter turning when one side is browned. Place in a warmed oven to keep warm while you cook the rest of the batter if it won’t all fit in the pan at once.

To serve

  1. Serve topped with fresh fruit, berries, coconut yogurt and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
